    A 10-Day Innovation Challenge for Bright Young Builders!
    While schools take a break this summer, the 10-day AtomQuest Junior challenge is here to keep kids’ creativity buzzing all season long. Building on the excitement of AtomQuest, Atomberg’s flagship campus competition that has inspired thousands of college students to solve real-world tech problems—we’re bringing that same spirit of innovation to younger students from Classes 1 to 12. This summer, whether you're a tinkerer, a thinker, or a future engineer, AtomQuest Junior is your chance to imagine, design, and build something brilliant.

    Who Can Participate?

    AtomQuest Junior is open to all bright young builders from Class 1 to Class 12. To ensure fair judging and age-appropriate evaluation, participants will be grouped into two exciting tracks:

    • Explorer Track (Classes 1 to 6) - For young creators who love to imagine, draw, and bring big ideas to life in fun, expressive ways.

    • Innovator Track (Classes 7 to 12)- For sharp thinkers ready to tackle real-world problems with smart, practical, and techpowered solutions

    Choose one mission from below and start creating!

    Option 1 - Fix a Real Problem at Home or School using Tech

    • Geysers running when no one’s showering at home, classroom lights or fans that run even during a break, or gadgets silently draining power—can you invent a fix?

    • Design a smart, simple solution using everyday tech ideas like sensors, timers, or alerts to solve a real-world problem either at home or in school.

    • Think of ways to save energy, stay organized, improve safety, or make life a little easier. You don’t need to build it—just show us how it would work!

    • Submit: A sketch or model + a short explanation (1-minute video and 800-1000 words write-up)

    Option 2 - Home Alone – Smarter Living for a Kid-Run Weekend

    • Imagine your parents are away for the weekend and you’re in charge of the house. You need to cook, clean, and keep everything under control—all on your own. What changes or upgrades would you make to existing home appliances to make your life easier? Could your mixer grinder help you cook a full meal? Could your fan remind you to drink water? Could your washing machine sort clothes by itself?

    • Design a smarter version of any appliance—and show us how it helps you be the boss of your home!

    • Submit: A labelled drawing or model + a short explanation (1-minute video and 800-1000 words write-up)

    Submission Guidelines

    To participate in AtomQuest Junior, please follow the steps below carefully:
    Your Submission Must Include:
    1. Short Write-Up (max 800-100 words)
    – Follow the structured format shared
    – Save it as a PDF or Word document    2. Pictures or Images
    – Clear photo(s) of your sketch, drawing, or model
    – Save as JPEG/PNG or include in the same PDF as the write-up    3. Video Explanation (1-minute max)
    – A short video explaining your idea and how it works (can be recorded on a phone)
    – Save as MP4 and upload to your Drive folder    Submission Process:
    • Upload all your files (write-up, pictures, and video) to a Drive folder
    • Set folder sharing to “Anyone with the link can view”
    • Paste the link address in submission link    *Individual Submissions Only

    Format of Writeup (800-1000 words)

    1. Problem Context (What’s the issue?): Briefly explain the real-life situation or challenge you observed at home or school that inspired this idea.2. Proposed Solution (What did you create?): Describe your device, system, or upgrade. What does it do? What makes it unique or smart?3. Technology/Logic (How does it work?): Explain the working principle—e.g., sensors, timers, IoT, automation, AI, renewable energy, etc. Be specific about how the idea would function.4. Impact (Why is it meaningful?): What change will this bring? Who will benefit and how? Can it save time, energy, or improve safety or comfort?
